Description
The Toyon Ridge in Toro Regional Park near Salinas California is one of several routes to the highest points in the park. On this day well before the COVID pandemic, my hiking companions were climbing a steep exposed trail on a hot windless day. It was still fairly early in the morning as noted by the long shadows which I thought gave a dramatic feature to the scene.
