The scene is a simple view of a restaurant and storefront space in the fascinating and unique city of Santa Cruz, California. I found it interesting but lifeless. So, I painted in a friend walking along playing his guitar. Faces aren’t my forte so he probably wouldn’t recognize himself in the painting.
