Description

This historic lighthouse in Pacific Grove California which came on line in 1855 is the longest continuously operational lighthouse on the west coast. It’s surrounded by a golf course and frequented by little Blacktail deer which look to me like a miniature version of a Rocky Mountain mule deer. The beacon stands above the rocky coastline on the Monterey Peninsula between Lovers’ Point and Asilomar Beach.
