Description
When I visited this beach near Santa Cruz CA with friends several years ago, the sun was sparkling across the water as the waves rolled onto the beach. I needed a lot of masking fluid to keep the highlights while painting the background. I also overpainted the silhouettes first with purple then black acrylic to make them pop.
