Description
In central Madrid next to the opera house is a sort of sunken street called Calle de la Escalinata, (the Spanish word for staircase). I’ve been there countless times. The street looks like hundreds of others in that exciting city. What makes it interesting is the perspective from the higher ground. After struggling to see details in the reference photo , I realized you can do a virtual walk through on the internet to view the location from multiple angles.
