Description
The Big Sur River is a clear emerald green color where it hits the Pacific Ocean in Andrew Molera State Park. The view from the river looking up at 3700 ft Pico Blanco is as dramatic as the opposite view from atop the ridgeline looking back down at the river and the beach. On the right side of my painting, the the East Molera Trail winds its way up to the ridge where a small grove of redwoods stands out against the horizon.
