Description
This is the elaborate street-level view of the Julián Martínez Mier building in the upscale Salamanca neighborhood in the heart of Madrid, Spain. When I photographed it in 2019, the luxury apartment building was barely 100 years old and for a city founded in the 9th Century, that’s relatively new. I look forward to doing more watercolors of street scenes in Madrid, a fascinating city full of exceptionally talented watercolor artists. Thankfully, many of those artists post their amazing work on social media to inspire the rest of us.
